Where the day starts, and how the timing is set.
How pickup works, where it is included, and what to know about the cruise port, the airport, food stops and start times.
01
Pickup and drop-off zones
On the four car tours, pickup and drop-off at your hotel or residence are included anywhere in South Beach and Miami Beach up to 63rd Street, Downtown, Brickell, Wynwood, the Design District and Little Havana. You can start at one address and finish at another inside that area. The walking tour meets you on foot at its start point.
02
Cruise port protocol
I track your ship from 7:00 AM. Once you clear customs and have your bags, text me and I meet you at the passenger pickup curb outside your terminal. We set the start time once your disembarkation time is known. If the tour ends at the port, I plan the drive back through the PortMiami Tunnel with time to spare.
03
Airport protocol
Pickups and drop-offs are fully supported at Miami International Airport (MIA). I monitor your flight arrival in real time. Once you have your luggage from baggage claim, text me and I meet you at the outer Arrivals curb by your airline's exit door. Your bags remain locked safely inside the car throughout all guided walking stops. Fort Lauderdale airport (FLL) is not served.
04
Food and drink stops
On the 4- and 6-hour tours you can add a coffee or lunch stop. Tell me your preferred spots ahead of time and I fit them into the route; the stop counts toward the tour time, and food is on you. The 2-hour drives and the walk run without stops.
05
Start times and traffic
Traffic and street closures change from day to day and through the year, so the best start time depends on your date. Check the notes under each tour, and ask me before booking if you are unsure.
Start and end the tour your way
On the vehicle tours you can start at one address and finish at another, for example your hotel in the morning and a different neighborhood in the afternoon, as long as both are inside the pickup area. Tell me when you book and I plan the route around it.
The pickup area covers South Beach and Miami Beach up to 63rd Street, Downtown, Brickell, Wynwood, the Design District and Little Havana.
PortMiami cruise terminals and Miami International Airport (MIA) can be added as a pickup, a drop-off or both, for $50 each. The fee covers terminal access, parking and waiting, and your luggage rides in the trunk.
Pickup, drop-off and port or airport transfers apply to the four car tours only. The walking tour has a fixed start point and you meet the guide there on foot.
