Coconut Grove
A leafy bayside neighborhood of banyan trees, marinas and old cottages.
Coconut Grove was settled in the late 1800s by Bahamian and New England pioneers, before Miami itself became a city.
Over the years it became a haven for artists and musicians, and it has kept its relaxed, village feel. Today you find winding streets under huge banyan trees, sailboats in the bayside marinas, sidewalk cafes and peacocks wandering through the neighborhood.
