The Miami most visitors come for, seen up close instead of through a bus window. You walk Ocean Drive among its pastel Art Deco hotels, stroll past Wynwood's murals, galleries and bars, and stop for Cuban coffee in Little Havana. Between stops, the skyline stays in view through the Tesla's glass roof.

Notes before you book

  • About 25 minutes of the four hours is the drive back to your drop-off.
  • On weekdays, try to avoid afternoon and late-afternoon starts: traffic on the causeways builds up.
  • In winter, some streets may close to traffic for events.

Start and end the tour your way

On the vehicle tours you can start at one address and finish at another, for example your hotel in the morning and a different neighborhood in the afternoon, as long as both are inside the pickup area. Tell me when you book and I plan the route around it.

The pickup area covers South Beach and Miami Beach up to 63rd Street, Downtown, Brickell, Wynwood, the Design District and Little Havana.

PortMiami cruise terminals and Miami International Airport (MIA) can be added as a pickup, a drop-off or both, for $50 each. The fee covers terminal access, parking and waiting, and your luggage rides in the trunk.

Questions about this tour

How much walking is there?

Each walk lasts 15 to 40 minutes at an easy pace on flat sidewalks, and the car takes you between them. If walking is difficult for anyone in your group, tell me when you book and I’ll swap some walks for drive-bys.

Can you pick me up from the cruise port or the airport?

Yes. On the vehicle tours, PortMiami and MIA work as a pickup point, a drop-off point or both, at $50 for each. Your luggage stays locked in the car during the walks. The tour still runs its full length; the fee covers terminal access and waiting, not extra driving.

Are tickets and food included?

No, and the standard route has no ticketed venues on it. Coffee, cigars and anything you buy along the way are yours to pay for. Chilled water in the car is included.

What happens if it rains?

Miami rain is usually heavy and short. On vehicle tours I move the driving forward and take the walks when it passes; the walking tour pauses under cover. If a named storm, a hurricane or flood watch, or an official road closure makes the tour unsafe, I cancel and you choose a full refund or a new date.

Is a child seat available?

No. There is no child seat in the car, so children aged 5 and under can't join the vehicle tours. The walking tour is open to children aged 5 and up.
